Certain songs now won't play on my iPhone 15 pro which I upgraded a while ago says "cannot connect "yet they play on my Mac mini ok ?

I upgraded a while ago says cannot connect yet they play on my Mac mini ok ? Also some songs disappeared suddenly and I had to re-sync - I am connected to the internet and all songs are downloaded to my iPhone so this shouldn't be necessary
