Annoying Blue UP Arrow

randomly appears in many apps, if I click on it it dissapears.

How to disable please?

Thanks Wheeie,

Caps Lock was/is not engaged. I rebooted this morning and the screenshot was captured after. So the arrow is displayed without caps lock engagement. I use multiple screens on my Macbook Air.

I did get it to go away by starting Terminal. app and entering (pasteing) sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/FeatureFlags/Domain/UIKit.plist redesigned_text_cursor -dict-add Enabled -bool NO

Had to enter my password, ran it again and arrow is gone.


The Terminal code was posted in this community, I saw it after posting my complaint.
