Bose Lifestyle (650? from around 2018) and newer Apple TV 4k

Hi all,

This may be a BOSE question, but we had the ATV remote paired up with our Bose system and all was well for awhile. The volume levels never seemed to be aligned and sometimes we'd use the Bose remote to adjust volume and sometimes the Apple remote, whichever was closer. A few days ago, my husband was playing around with some settings in both the Bose system menu and the Apple remote settings menu since the Apple remote stopped turning off the tv. Then, the Apple remote volume stopped working....we started just using the Bose remote for volume after trying unsuccessfully to figure things out. NOW, the Bose remote just randomly turns the volume down to zero...we push it back up....set the remote down and the volume turns down to zero again. All software is up to date on both systems and we replaced the batteries in the Bose remote. Like I mentioned, maybe this is more of a Bose problem....
