Car play music sounds muffled after Siri talks/read texts out loud

I recently updated my iOS 18. I noticed when I use car play my music sounds muffled. It sounds perfectly fine at first but Anytime Siri talks/announces or reads a text out loud, the music sounds very muffled. I have to unplug and reply in my phone to fix it. It is not a problem with the cord because I got a new cord to plug into to see if it would fix anything but it has not. I don’t think it’s my car because this happened to my boyfriend’s phone too when he plugged it into my car and it started after he got the update as well.
