14 Pro Max Front Camera Not Working

I've started a fresh post about this issue because I could not reply to the previous post. I contacted support today and after running the diagnostic test they confirmed the hardware associated with the front camera malfunctioned. As the phone is several months past the year warranty and I don't have Applecare, I'll have to pay $250 for the repair. My resolution is that this 14 Pro Max will be cameraless and I will not purchase any more Apple products because of poor customer service. It's unfortunate but I refuse to pay $1500 for a phone and then $250 for a repair because they made the product poorly.
