Configurator App Crashing on iPadOS 16 Our company has been using an iPad with Apple Configurator installed to enroll Macs after they were purchased into Apple Business Manager. The app ran well, though using the iphone 2x emulation mode as it looked like the app wasn't developed with the iPad as it's primary use. We have come across an issue where any iPad running iPadOS 16 will no longer launch the Configurator app. It just crashes. Looking at the crash logs it looks like there is a DYLD library missing. From the log: Termination Reason: DYLD 1 Library missing Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/AutomatedDeviceEnrollment.framework/AutomatedDeviceEnrollment Has anyone else experienced this? More importantly, does anyone else have a solution that doesn't involve purchasing the cheapest iPhone currently available specifically for this process? Troubleshooting / Isolation already performed: We have tried factory resetting our devices via Finder restore and even got our hands on a newest generation base iPad and restored and updated it. Issue still persists.

Apple Devices app not recognizing connected devices Since mid-December 2024, the Apple devices app hasn't recognized any of my attached Apple devices. Neither my iPhone 14 nor my iPod - both of which were working fine a few days before and the Windows 11 PC acknowledges both devices when attached via USB. My software is up to date in all cases, and this appears to be a system wide issue since I'm seeing it complained about from many people in the Microsoft store reviews of late. Please fix this issue ASAP.

Apple devices for Windows a real menace. Well Apple devices for Windows is a real menace for sure, tried to update to ios 18.3 downloading all the ipsw via the app and it still bricked my phone again after all these months. I don't understand one thing if Apple doesn't want us to use windows anymore why release faulty new apps? I had to download itunes in order to unbrick the phone and install ios 18.3.

see exactly! its a great new app and somebody needs to exercise it! i really like the new Apple Devices app. it has a clean and straightforward interface. it runs in to problems doing firmware updates for iphone. in the past i have succeeded with updates for iphone using the Apple Devices app. unfortunately i am no longer able to test this new app out and provide user feedback and usage data because it repeatably bricks my iphone 14. the update is suppossed to be ios 18.0.1 i believe it said 72 hours ago before it bricked my iphone. the apple devices app excels in other areas such as the photos integration nd icloud drive working with explorer. why does this bridge fail with dell?
