Apple Watch is dead

I did a hard restart several times and nothing happens. Periodically it shows the time and a red squigly mark.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.6

The red "lightning bolt" icon means that the battery is too low to power the Watch. You need to charge it. If it's failing to charge, see:

If your Apple Watch won't charge or it won't turn on - Apple Support
