Reminders not syncing between iPhone and MacBook Pro

New iPhone promax, ios18.1

Macbook Pro using Big Sur 11.7.10

Reminders won’t sync.

the help page is zero help!

Very frustrating! The slogan “it just works” has been thrown out!

Just spoken to Apple support.

An extremely helpful tech solved the issue.

I wish I could relay the procedure but it was a complicated screen share on my phone and MacBook that cured the problem.
