Workout app for iPad cannot be used to review the same data as on the iPhone? I use my Apple Watch to track my workouts. Using my iPhone to review the data for workouts in the Workouts app is fine, but I’m surprised that the same app on the iPad is basically useless for that — it only provides a portal into for-pay premium workout/coaching sessions. This really surprises me — does anyone have any knowledge about why Apple would field identical-looking apps for iPhone and iPad and yet make them essentially incompatible? I can see the value of the paid services, but I’d think Apple would extend the app for that, not lobotomize the app.

If you download your playlist, you can use Spotify

If you have GPS, which all Apple Watches have, you can use strava to register your workout and upload it when you get home
