File Transfer Error WIth USB Stick?

Hi everybody, I have a 2022 iMac with OS Monterey 12.2.1. I might be missing something really obvious here but does anybody know why I can’t put a 7.08GB video file onto a 32GB USB stick? The stick has plenty of space left on it but when I try to put the file on a get this error message … “The item can’t be copied because it is too large for the volume’s format.” Does any body recognise this error? Many thanks for any help!
