Dragging window to top edge of screen on MacBook Pro with notch

Hello there Apple Community Land,

I am using a 2023 14-inch MacBook Pro and at the very top of the screen in the middle there is a notch. This is at the very top of the screen so when you move your cursor up on either the left-side or the right-side of the notch, this is where the menu bar drops down. I am trying to maximize available screen space and move a window or window(s) to the VERY top edge of the screen, and even after I have hidden the menu bar, when I move the window up the that VERY top corner of the screen it just snaps back down to where it would go if the menu bar were to have dropped down, and it doesn't let me drag and keep any window at the very edge of the screen. I can click and drag the window to the very edge of the screen but as soon as I release the mouse, it snaps back down. I would also be interested in being able to drag a window off of the top edge of the screen just like I can off of the left or right edges of the screen. Does anyone know if either of these things are possible?
