How can I change Safari background color on iPhone?

When using Safari my bottom screen search tab has dark background and light lettering. How do I change it back to

light background and dark lettering?

Safari bar issue iPhone SE3 iOS 26.1 iPhone SE 3d gen iOS26.1 There is a bar along the bottom of the Safari screen now. It is obstructive; obscures web pages including their action buttons. It also takes up a lot of real estate on a small screen. I have tried to enable the ‘compact’ option in Safari but that option is greyed. I have tried to fix that by disabling all restrictions to no avail. I am already suffering from higher battery usage so per the info out there Ive turned off the transparency options see attached screenshot. Apple, please do better. Im old enough to remember and have used the original Macs and Apples. Y’know, when y’all offered a quality, easy to use product. I now contemplate a PC based device.
