Here are some ideas hope one of them works for you:)
1. Clean the TrueDepth Camera
• The Face ID sensors, located in the notch at the top of the screen, need a clear view of your face. Ensure there’s no dirt, smudge, or screen protector obstructing the sensors.
2. Check Face ID Settings
• Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode.
• Make sure Face ID is set up and enabled for the functions you want (like iPhone Unlock, iTunes & App Store, Wallet & Apple Pay, etc.).
• If these settings are already on, try toggling them off and back on again.
3. Update iOS
• Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements for Face ID.
• Go to Settings > General > Software Update and install any available updates.
4. Reset Face ID
• Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode, then select Reset Face ID.
• After that, tap Set Up Face ID to register your face again. This can help if your initial Face ID setup had issues.
5. Check Your Face ID Conditions
• Distance: Hold the iPhone about 10–20 inches from your face.
• Lighting: While Face ID works in low light, very bright sunlight or harsh backlighting may interfere with it.
• Face Coverage: Face ID requires most of your face to be visible, so remove anything that might cover your face (e.g., sunglasses, masks, or hats). If you use Face ID with a mask, ensure that Unlock with Apple Watch is enabled (requires an Apple Watch).
