I went to settings and set the ringtone and alerts to the maximum. I am hearing impaired and if I do not have the i phone 15 max pro in my hand I cannot hear it. I am not able to hear the calls from my doctors when they call me. What can be done or what can I do?

You could turn on the LED flash for notifications. Settings>Accessibility>Audio & Visual>LED Flash for Alerts.
You could also use AirPods. That would at least put the alerts directly in your ears. If you use hearing aids, see if they will connect via BlueTooth to the phone.
