Divert to Voicemail Settings

On IoS 18.0.1 on an iPhone 16 Pro - service provider is Vodafone UK.

This is a recent bug - divert to voicemail has worked fine for many years.

Divert to voicemail has started diverting too quickly (about 15s), despite a setting of 30s on my Vodafone account. In fact, even if I turn divert to voicemail off on my Vodafone account, it still gets diverted.

I moved my simm to another phone (actually an older iPhone), making no other changes, and divert to voicemail works as expected.

I cannot find any settings on my iPhone to do with this. Does anyone know any of the magic codes that might help here? I can't find them on the support website anywhere...

Which was where I started 24 hours ago 😜.

turns out in the end that the new iOS 17/18 Live Voicemail feature overrides the carriers voicemail settings (and annoyingly is turned on by default). So that’s another new feature I’ve turned off for now. I’ll read up on it when I’ve regained the willpower

Thanks for updating us. Yes, Live Voicemail has been implicated in a couple of things, including the ability to create a personalized greeting. I hadn't heard this before but I will keep in mind.
