I got refunded for a pair of pants it showed in my transaction history but the balance never changed. Ive already tried resetting my wallet and my phone. This is on my apple pay card.

When did was the refund granted? Generally, once the merchant accepts the item(s) for return and issues the return receipt, the funds are available in your account in 5 to 7 business days.
Why so long? It takes that long for the merchant to transfer the funds from their bank to the Apple Cash account bank, Green Dot. The merchants bank will send the funds over the ACH network, which takes 3 days. Figure a day for the merchant to finish what he needs to do and notify the bank of the transfer and Green Dot may hold the funds for a day, to make sure the merchant doesn’t issue a return on the funds. That’s 5 days.
