Brand new MacBook Air M3 and already have most of the 256GB used up due to a whopping 138GB under "Other Users and Shared". I checked the Users folders and nothing substantial can be found - deleted many things but didn't affect storage amount. I only have basic applications installed.
I can't find another way to check where this data is and how to delete it!
What helped me in this situation was to turn off iCloud Drive and after that switch it on again
"Other Users and Shared" at 138GB after MacBook Air M1 to M3 migration.
