How to cancel iTunes subscriptions effectively?

I had cancelled my subscription for my annual Disney+Hotstar auto payment from the settings. Still money was deducted from my account and it is no where to be seen since my subscription didn’t get renewed either. Now Apple is not helping me with the refund either. I reached out to Hotstar and they asked me to contact Apple as well.

If you purchased the subscription as an in-app purchase, followed this procedure:

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

and Apple and Hotstar have both denied a refund, there's probably nothing further you can do other than dispute the charge with your credit card company. You could try contacting Disney+ support but I doubt they can or will help.

Regards.
