I prefer wearing only one AirPod during work. New update has removed the noise cancellation feature when wearing one pod. This has greatly reduced the functionality of my AirPods at work. I’ve had to raise my typical volume setting and I’m still missing podcast content when work environment gets briefly noisy. Very frustrated by this. Why did this happen?

I can still set a single airpod to noise cancelling by going through the app, but I can’t do so via the “press and hold” feature. That’s annoying.
