Wife's iPhone S12 will not work in Maps without an Internet connection. Response is '...requires internet connection...'. True with both Apple, and Google Maps applications. Other cellular apps seem to work OK. Checked Settings<Cellular, etc. Matched Settings to my iPhone 15 and my iPhone works fine. Using ATT service. Any suggestions? Missing a setup step?

Okay, so as the announcement was four years ago, normal use shouldn't result in a Max Capacity of 93%. It's likely to be really much lower than that and the aging battery is overdue for replacement. Due to the weak battery, the antenna of that iPhone 12 is not being supplied sufficient power to connect with cell tower signals.

Original battery 93%. This is not a new problem. Been around some but a new annoyance.
It was purchased new early in the announcement cycle. Don't know exact age. She has complained that the unit gets warm in use. Does not seem unusually warm to me, but it is noteble.
