Mac Studio Running Low on SSD Space After 6 Months – Tips to Free Up Space and Keep Storage Under Control?

I have an M2 Max Studio with a 1 TB SSD. (Running on macOS Sonoma 14.4). When I checked the storage, it showed around 421 GB used, which seemed unusual since I bought the system only 6 months ago. Upon investigating, I found that System Data is taking up 347.2 GB. and Mac OS is 29.32 GB. Is this normal?

I don’t have many apps installed—I’m an editor, so I mainly use Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Acrobat, Resolve, and 4K Video Downloader. Aside from these, it’s mostly the default apps that come with Apple.

Any tips on freeing up space?
