That printer supports AirPrint for printing and (presumably) scanning.
Check for a Firmware Update option in the front-panel printer control menus. The manual is not at all clear about the control panel. If you can find a way to use the control panel to update the firmware, then check for newer firmware.
Remove the printer from your macOS configuration, and re-add it using the AirPrint printer drivers. > System Settings > Printers & Scanners, and remove it. (though the menus have moved around and I don't have macOS 14 handy to check.)
Print wirelessly from your Mac to your printer - Apple Support (AirPrint works both wired and wirelessly)
If that AirPrint path doesn't work, then reset the Mac printing system, and try configuring AirPrint again:
Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem - Apple Support
If that fails, see page 325 in the printer manual, and reset the printer to factory defaults:
https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd4/cpd41239.pdf
And try AirPrint again.
If you really want or need to use the Epson vendor printer drivers and not AirPrint, you'll want to download the latest of those from the Epson website.
