My 1st Gen Apple pencil is not connecting to my 2018 iPad Pro
Up until recently, my iPad and Apple Pencil had been working just fine. However today I noticed my Apple Pencil was simply not connecting to my iPad any longer. I had done everything the Apple Support pages said. I forgot the device and tried to pair the Pencil again, however the pair button would not appear. I had restarted my iPad with the Pencil plugged in and that hadn’t helped. I initially had thought there might be a problem with my Apple Pencil, however I tried with a friend’s Apple Pencil that I knew was working for them, and still the pair option didn’t appear. Outside of this, Apple Support suggest to get my devices a service, however I do not have the time or money to do this, so I’m hoping someone might have an idea as to what might be going wrong. Even if I’m unable to fix it myself any help would be appreciated.
