iOS 18.1 Emoji and Sticker Issue

Hello! I just switched over to an iPhone 16 Pro and am I having some issues with my emojis and stickers. For my emojis, whenever I go to my frequently used section, I have these grey bubbles on a few spots that are supposed to be emojis. I have added a photo of it. For my stickers, whenever I try to create one, it completely disappears and will not add. I’m not sure if that makes any sense but if anyone can help me with both of these things I would really appreciate it. I’m guessing it’s just a bug but I haven’t seen anyone else discuss this issue so I figured I’d see if anyone knew on here. Thank you!

To the best of my knowledge, the sticker problem still hasn’t been fixed though Apple is aware of it but to fix the greyed out bubbles in the emoji slots for now just turn off the stickers under settings, general, keyboard and that’ll fit your emoji slots right up! I had the same problem myself! (Both problems tbh - I’m waiting on the sticker issue still)

I have the exact same problem since I switched to the iPhone 16 Pro Max from the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I’ve googled it, and it seems like many other users have had the same issue for over a year now?! When will Apple step up and actually fix this problem? It’s irresponsible and disappointing from them. Time to switch to Android.

The same problem on 15 pro max. But on XS Max stickers/emoji work correctly...

Same problems with my wife’s iPhone 16 pro max. We both upgraded from 14 pro max’s at the exact same time. My phone has no issue with stickers/blank emojis and hers does. Very frustrating, Apple.

Same with me i can not use my emoticons even my emojis after the updates.. 😣

thanks for this fix, it was really bugging me, and apparently I'm more attached to emojis than stickers...
