How to remove Activation Lock on my iPhone?

Hi all, I cracked my screen iPhone 12. Now I have to send it back to my insurance to be repaired as it is a replacement phone from them.

Now I couldn’t remember my Apple ID password or iPhone passcode briefly.. so I restored my smashed iPhone through my M1 MacBook. On completion of restore it put my smashed iPhone 12 into activation lock with MY Apple ID attached.

i have since got my password and regained access to my Apple account.

I have removed iPhone 12 from FindMy & iCloud but it says it takes 30 days. I need to send my phone to my gadget insurance for repair/replace.

Will activation lock be removed after 30 days? Or just removed from FindMy?
