Can't see Permissions for anything on iCloud Drive

I set up a 2TB shared iCloud Drive so I can share family photos with my wife and kids. Yesterday I went to the top folder on my iCloud Drive and set the permissions so my wife and daughters can read/write, including all items contained within that top folder, i.e. everything.

I'm having some trouble getting the shared folders to show up on their Macs, but that's another post. But today, when I go in and look at the "Get Info" window for my top level folder, it does not show any section with Permissions (see screen shot below). Ditto when I display any other folder or individual file on my iCloud Drive. VERY confusing! It was there yesterday, and gone today. Anyone have an idea what's going on?

Your reply doesn't help at all. I've done everything Apple requires to enable Family Sharing, including changing all the permissions on the top level folder on the shared iCloud+ Drive. But as my post clearly states, now I cannot even see those permissions. I'm seeking assistance on how to see those permissions so I can validate that they are properly set to read/write for my shared family members.
