Notes on my iPhone are missing

This just happened to me this morning, and I remembered seeing an article in Apple news. I found it again, from Mashable, and their solution worked!

1. Open Settings
2. Tap on your name / profile
3. Select iCloud
4. Tap “Notes” (you might need to tap “Show All” under “Apps Using iCloud”)
5. Make sure “Sync this iPhone” is turned on.
6. If it’s already on, turn it off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

Notes will start syncing back to your phone. It might take a while to finish, depending on how many notes you have.

My iCloud Notes are missing today too and so are the my partners! Two accounts, two phones only showing external server notes (eg Gmail notes).

@Apple - please advise!
