Text tone not ringing for individual
iPhone 16. iOS-18.1. One particular person’s text is not sounding. I can not find “hide
alerts” to see it that’s the problem. I’ve tried everything else-at least what’s in web responses

If you have the person muted, you'll see a tiny bell icon with a line through it at the right of the thread on the main Messages page:
To remove that, put your finger on the thread and pull to the left. Tap the purple bell icon.
