Paramount Plus - not as advertised

I used my Apple TV Ap to purchase the Paramount Channel. You sign in through the partner page and choose @TV. Works on my iPad. Got a nice new AppleTV box and wanted to enjoy my Apple subscriptions. Turns out it’s a scam. The Apple TV Channel subscription doesn’t work on my AppleTV box. A less than awesome Paramount system routed me to a call centre where they wanted me to PAY to register my AppleTV so that I can watch the AppleTV channel that I already pay for through the AppleTV partner program. I want to know how/why Apple approved this SCAM. I really did think that Apple was better than that.

If you subscribed to the Paramount+ channel in the Apple TV app (not directly through Paramount+, and not through the separate Paramount+ app), then that channel is available in the (full) Apple TV app on any of your supported (Apple or third party) devices with the Apple TV app. The requirement is the matching Apple Account, where this subscription is linked to. No separate sign-in for Paramount+ needed for in-app channels.

Is Paramount+ listed there with an “tv channels” description line?

The Apple TV Channel subscription doesn’t work on my AppleTV box.

It should work on Apple TV box [A1625 or later] (2015 or later).

It may not work abroad, per Paramount’s terms and conditions. Some non-US countries are supported, but they may have a localized catalog, possibly not including your favorite show. Can I watch my Paramount content while traveling? - Paramount+ Support
