Ipad pro m4 facebook and messenger issue

I recently got an iPad Pro M4 and I'm running into a few issues with Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. I downloaded both Facebook and Messenger from the Apple App Store, but here’s what’s going on:

  1. Facebook App: When I log in, it loads in a web view instead of the regular app view, which makes it pretty inconvenient to use. Also, on the login screen, Facebook is recognizing my iPad Pro as if it’s a macOS device instead of an iPadOS one. Anyone else had this happen?
  2. Messenger App: When I try to log in, it tells me I need to complete a security check in Safari. But when I open Safari, it just says the content isn’t available, and I can’t move forward. It’s been really frustrating!

Has anyone else faced this or know how to fix it? I’d really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

Yep, it will need to be resolved by Meta. If you just look at the updates for their Messenger app, they have had 15 in the last month and Facebook has had 13 in the last month. Clearly they do very little testing before releasing an update and their users end up being the testers by finding the bugs such as you have. The good news is that you can expect an update shortly based on the past experience, the bad news is that if it does fix this issue, you may find a different problem.
