I think the subject is pretty self explanatory. Really Apple?

Foreign is a very relative term. What may be foreign to you, may not be foreign to somebody else.
How would Apple determine what is foreign at any given moment?
The store serves many countries at once and coding a foreign section would require determining location and region for any given user, millions of movies that are not local to the viewer could be classified as foreign, which is hardly practical. If I want to see Avengers when in Germany, I don't want to have to go find it in a foreign section.
Which then brings up other questions.
Should they base the "foreignness" of a movie on your actual location?
Or on your store's region?
On your billing address?
There are multiple options for determining foreignness of a movie, none very convenient to either Apple or end users.
If I am in Germany for a holiday, should German movies be classified as foreign or local?
If they are local, then all US made movies would be in the foreign section, which would be kind of impractical, no?
Or should anything that is not American be classified as foreign? Seems a bit discriminatory.
It just poses too many logistical issues to implement when you serve close to the entire world from the same platform.
At the end of the day, everything can be foreign to someone.

Nobody on these forums would know why Apple makes its choices. However, the iTunes Store is global so “foreign” would be relative.
