iPhone 16 Pro - No Photographic Styles icon in Camera app

On iPhone 16 Pro, the Photographic Styles icon is only present at upper right in the Camera app when Live is turned on. With Live turned off, only the RAW Max and Live icons appear. I have High Efficiency turned on for photos. Formats is set to ProRAW Max and JPEG-XL Lossy.

From playing with the settings on my 16 Pro Max, it looks like the Styles icon disappears when you enable RAW Max and reappears when you disable it. Seems like RAW Max disables High Efficiency, which is a prerequisite for Photographic Styles.

HEIF Max does not have this effect, if that helps you any.

Thank you. That's very helpful. I was confused when I watched Tyler Stalman's excellent Peru video. I like the look of his stills and thought he was shooting in RAW Max, but upon re-watching I see that the still photos are labeled HEIF. I found his discussion of Photographic Styles helpful, will have to watch again to better understand how he's getting great stills with Styles.
