Apogee Duet-2 not showing in System Preferences under 'Sound'

Has anyone had this issue? I am on a Macbook Air, Retina, 13-inch, 2020, on MacOS Sequoia 15.1. I have downloaded the latest firmware a couple of times from the Apogee website and installed, and restarted a the Mac a few times. The Apogee logo is showing as constantly 'loading' on the device itself. It is connected with Usb via a hub to the mac. I am wondering if it is being blocked somewhere. I looked in Login Items/Extensions under General and Apogee Electronics is set to 'on'.. not sure where else to look.. Does anyone has any suggestions what I can do?
