I use the notes app on my iPhone daily. I have things in there going back many years. I used it earlier today. I’ve just opened it and it’s empty! Completely blank. No folders or anything. Even the deleted items folder is gone.
I’ve seen a few fixes online which I’ve tried but nothing has changed. Please can you help me?

You are only speaking to rando's online, Apple is not here. If you would like to speak to Apple directly, then go here:

As you can see from the many posts on the subject, these steps have worked for others, but you do have the option to contact Apple directly if you wish.
First view your notes that are stored in iCloud:
View notes and locked notes on iCloud.com - Apple Support
These are the notes that will be synced back to your device when you turn off Notes in iCloud and choose to delete them from your device. Doing this does not delete them from iCloud. You can either wait a few seconds or restart your device. After you turn the switch for Notes back on, all the notes you viewed in iCloud using the previous link will then be downloaded back to your device.
On your iPhone go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, turn off Notes, restart your iPhone and turn Notes back on. Wait a few minutes for the notes to be downloaded from iCloud.
Thank you so so much! This worked. I didn’t think it had at all, I waited 25mins on the iCloud notes page and it was just continuously syncing at 0kb. It wasn’t until I then opened the notes app again that it populated itself again. All 309 notes returned, deleted items folder, etc are all restored.
