Cannot turn off email threading

I have an iphone 15 pro max. I need to print individual emails received from and sent to a specific person one by one, by date, not in thread format. This is a legal matter and the requirement I have to work with. I have toggled off all options in Settings, Mail, Threading. I use Mail as default, vs. Gmail. My mail account is a gmail account. I am on IOS 17.7. Any help is very welcome!
