Nothing works to stop Factime from answering my calls.

FaceTime keeps answering my calls. It sends them directly to voice mail. I can be looking at my phone and reaching for it to answer a call and it sends it to VM. I DO NOT HAVE FOCUS ON. I have deleted FT from my phone. I do not have FT on my IPAD. I keep it OFF on my computer. It will answer the call even if I am no where NEAR my computer. Like 20 miles away in my car. I follow the directions and go to my settings and it clearly says that calls on other devices is turned off. When I try to turn it on so I can try turning it back off, it says it CAN'T BE TURNED ON. When clearly it is ON.

This is creating a HUGE problem for me, my mother has a medical alert device and they call me when it is triggered and Face Time is jumping on the calls and sending sending them to VM. I am ready to smash the stupid thing with a sledgehammer.

I signed into iCloud and FT and turned off all the setting to allow it to receive calls. I removed all the the email addresses. I cannot remove the phone number or it defaults back to my email address. I turned off calls from iPhone. I signed out and not two minutes later someone tried to call me and FT answered it again.
