New M4 Pro (18GB RAM, 512GB SSD) With 2 Battery Cycle Count

Today, I bought the MacBook M4 Pro with 18GB RAM and 512GB SSD from iDestiny, an Apple-authorized seller. As the first person to buy the M4 at this shop, I was really excited to unbox a brand-new machine. However, there was one unexpected surprise that caught my attention: the battery cycle count was listed as 2. I was expecting it to be 0, given that the laptop was supposedly brand new.

GREAT! The factory tested that battery for you, and it is working great!

Many come through with three cycles, but anything in the single digits is perfectly normal and considered acceptable for a NEW MacBook Pro.

it is comparable to getting a new car with less than 100 miles on it. It's not used, it just took them that much to test it out and get it to you.

And did you also see that the battery Maximum Capacity is at 100% and Condition is Normal ?

There is nothing wrong with your battery. It would have been charged at the factory for QA testing and also in order to install the initial macOS image, hence a non-0 cycle count.
