Using apple account to sign in to Norton secure login

I have Norton 360 running on my iphone. I’m trying to get it running on my iMAC. When I attempt to sign in to Norton with my apple ID I get a pop up note saying my account is being used to sign into a new device on both devices and a verification code but but no field appears in which to put the code???
