How can I access AI with my desktop computer?

I use ChatGPT many times every day, and it's wonderful; however, I know there are many lesser such programs, and I thought it might be worthwhile to test a few of them. How about Apple? Doesn't it have a program that allows you to ask questions by voice? If so, l how do I access it with my desktop computer?

Apple Intelligence is available for M series Macs that have Apple Silicon. Older Macs have the standard Siri built in.

I was thinking of those programs where you say some word, and a friendly voice will answer you with something like, "How can I help you?" I know I have it-somewhere-because It has happened to me several times.

Sounds like you are talking about Siri. Refer to the link provided where you can activate it by voice or in the menubar.

To access AI on your desktop computer, you can start by exploring a variety of online platforms and software tools. For instance, cloud-based services like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Cloud AI, and Microsoft’s Azure AI offer web interfaces where you can interact with AI models directly through your browser.

Thanks. I logged in today because I was wondering why no one had answered my last message. I found it. You had sent it, but I never received it. Anyway, I now have Siri, and I now recall that there are other such programs that work the same way. I know that because I have heard from them, but not recently. Maybe I turned them off. Siri had been turned off. That makes me think that it might become a nuisance..
