Deleted files not showing up in recently deleted folder

I have an iPhone and a Mac. I didn't realize that the spreadsheets (made in Numbers) I had were only being saved to iCloud and not to my Mac hard drive. I deleted everything in my iCloud via my phone and it deleted these spreadsheets. My recently deleted folders are empty. I have tired various sketchy softwares online to try and get the files back, but nothing has worked so far. Has anyone done this and been able to get the files back?

I deleted the files less than a week ago.
