Looking to factory reset my 14 year old son’s IPhone because he forgot his passcode. And I have no way of knowing anything except the IEMI number because it’s an older phone so it’s on the back. How can I factory reset?!?

To be clear the IMEI number will be no use. You will need a computer to reset the device without the Passcode. If you do not have a computer, you can take it to the Apple Store for assistance or use a friends computer. Either link provided by Lawrence Finch will accomplish what you are looking for. All data on the phone will be erased, but if a backup is available it can be restored.
lol I’m not that uneducated. I worded it wrong I guess. I’m looking to do a hard manual factory reset without having the passcode to get in. It’s the older version with the middle button still.
