How to reduce WiFi data consumption.

I work on ship and we get 15 gb of free data and we using starlink as our service provider. Due to high speed data consumption is also high. Can anyone please help me out with this problem.

Mesh wifi and iPad slow speed We purchased a TP-Link mesh wifi and an iPad, both new, before Christmas and the iPad downloads at 6Mbps compared to download speed of 50Mbps with both our iPhones. Tp-Link cannot help. Any suggestions?
