my apple tv remote control wont work with rouvy app on apple tv.. why

3. If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
4. If the issue still persists after that, then contact the app developer for further assistance.

The current version of the Rouvy app says that it requires an Apple TV Remote (1st generation). Do you have that? Earlier or later models may not have all the functionality that this app requires. (This model remote has a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, which sets it apart from earlier and later models.)

This app also requires Apple TV 4K (1st generation) or later (A1842 or later), according to their own website.

If the remote works for other apps, then I think the remote is fine.
