iOS 17.4.1 Messages App & AirPlane mode unresponsive

On my iPhone with iOS 17.4.1 the Messages App is unresponsive and then crashes either on the last scene or on white/black (depending on the system Background).

After a restart of the iPhone the App is performing as expected but then gets unresponsive again. Sometimes multiple relaunches of the App can also make the App responsive again.

Interestingly when navigating to the Messages pane in Settings the Settings App also becomes unresponsive.

Also the AirPlane mode has a delay of about 30s to 1min and it is unable to activate or deactivate AirPlane mode on the Apple Watch.

I have not yet experienced any other unexpected behavior with any other App or Service.
