Airport Time Capsule shows up in finder but does not load in Disk Utility. I need to format as it stopped backing up. I may have messed up by erasing in Airport Utility rather than going to the Disk Utility app to format. The Airport Time Capsule is connected via wifi network to MackBook Air.
How do I format Airport Time Capsule when it doesn't show up in Disk Utility?
MacBook Air (M1, 2020) is running macOS Monterey.
Erase it in the AirPort Utility. The Time Capsule is a network drive, not a local one, and therefore won't appear in the Disk Utility.

I understand. I have erased it in Airport utility, but it still won’t backup. Should I reset it? Do you think that would help?
