Trouble Sorting in Numbers

In a Numbers document, after 228 rows it will not alphabetize by column A after row 170. It starts over with the rest of the A’s, B’s, etc. Nothing is merged and there are no rules set for the document. Only two columns - Title and Author. Any suggestions?

Never mind! I must have a bug. All the ones I entered a few weeks ago had a space before the first letter of the Title. All the ones my granddaughter entered yesterday had no space before the first letter in the Title.

I took out the space, and all alphabetized as needed. Sorry to take your time.

You had it, Yellowbox! My question is...why would there be a space before each first word?? Is it because I accessed the document when I was using it, trading off between MacBook Pro and iPad?? Why would it happen? It didn’t happen to the ones my granddaughter entered....

First world problem, eh. Don’t worry about replying if there’s no answer. I sure appreciate your time when you replied.
