Apple Music Sync deletes all my synced files

I have a larger collection of Yoga/Meditation videos I have set up as playlists and use them every morning to select one and play it. they are sorted by length. 15 minutes for example has some 100 Videos. I always play the last entries. Yoga, Meditation and Sound at the end. So always three in that order. Then I move them to the top so that I have the next three on the bottom for the next day.

When I make a change and my iPad and it syncs with my MAC, it creates a duplicate Playlist. So I end up having 30 duplicate playlists after one month.

If you turn on Cloud Sync, it does not make duplicate playlists anymore, but:

It then deletes all my Videos from my iPad.

Why is it not possible to sync the playlist if you are not using APPLE SNYC or why does it have to DELETE everything that it will not SYNC when turning cloud sync on???

iTunes Match also does not help, as it does not sync Videos.

  • So can not sync Videos over cloud at all
  • Can not make changes on playlists on my iPad without the sync duplicating playlists. Needs Cloud sync to not do it, what will fix Playlist issue but delete all Music Videos

  • why make this apple so frustrating? It is the worst Music app
