Music genres are not syncing on my iPhone

Inconvenient but irritating, I added a bunch of Christmas music to my library and classified it in the genre of Christmas, but when I sync it to my iPhone it doesn't come up. And then I noticed none of my genres come up. They all come up as songs only. This only happened after I upgraded to iOS 18. Can you take the bugs out of it please?
