I have an issue with an M1 MBA 2020 where the right hand speaker is not working. When I go to adjust the balance in Sound prefs rather than doing what it is supposed to it just changes the tone balance of the left speaker from bass to treble heavy.
Bit odd. I have tried changing the right speaker as well as a complete re install.
Have you changed the whole speaker? Hardware wise? Then maybe the repair went not as planned?
