Missing music on iPhone

An album that was on my iPhone disappeared after one of the recent updates (not sure which one) I tried downloading it again and on one song appears from the album. The full album shows on my Macbook Pro, just not my iPhone. I've tried verifying my Apple ID and it is correct. I then tried deleting the album from my iPhone and then downloading it again. Same result. Ideas?
